Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League (NCGSL) Switches Affiliation to USSSA for 2012 Season - The Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League (NCGSL) has elected to switch its affiliation to USSSA after 13 seasons with ASA. The NCGSL will be able to take advantage of registration and insurance savings due to this switch. Also, CT USSSA has completely taken over the assigning, training and distribution of umpires for all NCGSL games. Finally, NCGSL has outsourced the running of their season ending tournaments to CT USSSA and these events will be held that CT USSSA's facility at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club in East Hartford, CT. USSSA 2012 CT State Championships - CT USSSA is provding State Championships for 10U (new date June 9), 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. See the Tournament Page for dates. Any team planning to participate in a USSSA World Series tournament MUST play in the CT USSSA State Tournament. Teams from other states that do not have a State Tournament can play in the CT tournament.
